1)  Horror story of Tunnel no. 33 shimla, Barog tunnel

It is one of the longest tunnels in Shimla_kalka railway, it is one of the most famous haunted tourist places of shimla. This tunnel is named after Colonel Barog, who was a British railway engineer and he had this task to construct this tunnel in a given time frame. But due to some miscalculation he was unable to do so. Because of that the British government fined him and also fired him from his job. The laborers were  also unhappy and angry with him.

Because of all these events the Colonel became very depressed and shot himself dead. But after so many years of his death it is said that his spirit still haunts the tunnel. His spirit has been spotted by many tourists in that tunnel although it is said that he has never harmed anyone but still seeing a dead man’s spirit after so many years after his death would be   enough to creep you out.

2) House of Dukhani

Here is one of the most Horror stories of himachal pradesh. This House of Dukhani is situated in the beautiful hills of shimla.But it has a dark past. It is said that there was an old man named Bucky, who was the owner of this house and shot himself dead in one of the rooms of this house. After that this place is said to be haunted by his spirit.

There is a very spooky incident that occurred  in this house, during a short stay at House of Dukhani a british officer John smith saw the ghost of an old man wearing a gown in the same room where bucky died. 3) Chudail Baudi : the witch’s well

This place is also a famous horror place in shimla. There is a stretch of road in shimla between Chotta shimla and Navbahar which makes it a ghost village in himachal pradesh. Several paranormal activities have been reported on this road.

It is claimed by many tourists that when they arrive at this stretch of the road, vehicle speed automatically slows down, no matter how hard you press the accelerator. It has also been claimed by the visitors that, late at night they have seen a lady wearing white saree with long hair on this road. She usually asks for the lift and if you do not stop the car she will start running with your car. It is one of the most chilling ghost stories of Shimla hills.

4) Haunted IGMC shimla

IGMC is one of the biggest hospitals in himachal pradesh, but it is also famous for haunted activities that happened here. It is believed that this hospital is being haunted by many patients who died in this hospital. People reported strange sounds coming from corridors and stairways of this hospital.
Apart from this there is another haunted place near IGMC, it is the forest road to IGMC. It is said that there is a spirit of a dead orange vendor who used to sell oranges in this area. Many tourists have seen his spirit lingering on this road.

5) Charleville Mansion,most haunted tourist places in shimla

This mansion is another entry in  ghost stories of Shimla hills. This mansion was occupied by a British officer named Victor Bayley in 1913. He used to live here with his wife and family and has witnessed many paranormal activities in the house like shattering of things in the house, seeing the disappearance of spirits and many other disturbing incidents. Prior to him there is another British Family that used to live in this mansion and they have experienced the same horror in the house.
